How to Tell the Truth
[wpv-post-taxonomy type="variant" format="name"] # [types field='ep'][/types]
We often assume that truth is simple—black or white, right or wrong. But as we dig deeper, we realize that truth is far more complex. Who gets to define what truth is? Is there such a thing as absolute truth, or is all truth shaped by perspective and experience? And if truth is relative, whose truth takes precedence—is it ever the case that “your truth” holds more weight than “my truth”?
These questions challenge us at the core of our being. If we accept the possibility of Absolute Truth, we must also ask: how would we recognize it? Is it something that can be proven, or is it an inner knowing that transcends evidence? On the other hand, if truth is entirely subjective, how do we navigate conflicting realities without losing our sense of integrity and connection with one another?
You have likely wrestled with these questions in your own life. Perhaps you’ve been told to “speak your truth,” only to find that your version of truth clashes with someone else’s. Maybe you’ve struggled with self-honesty, afraid to acknowledge something you know deep down to be true. The challenge of truth is not just in recognizing it, but in living it—boldly, authentically, and with respect for the truths of others.
So, how do we tell the truth in the most authentic way possible? Well, that is the question we examine in this episode of Soul Empowerment. In addition to tackling some of the questions mentioned earlier, we also discuss the following:
Self-Inquiry
Learning to tell the truth begins with deep self-inquiry. Are you willing to listen—to yourself and to others—with openness and curiosity? Can you distinguish between what you have been taught and what resonates as true in the depths of your soul?
Spiritual VS Physical Truth
Most people seem to agree that we are spiritual beings having a spiritual experience. And in this understanding, we also recognize that Truth is quite different in both realms. How does this awareness affect your ability to tell the truth in any given moment? How can you use this awareness to your advantage in day-to-day life?
A Tool of Illumination
Truth is not a weapon to wield, but a light to illuminate. When you speak from that place of inner clarity, you can offer truth not as an argument, but as a bridge of illumination and connection.
An Act of Courage
Embracing truth requires courage. It may challenge old beliefs, disrupt relationships, or push you beyond your comfort zone. But in the resulting discomfort, freedom can often be found—the freedom to live in alignment with who you truly are. When we live in truth, we invite others to do the same.
Truth is not a rigid doctrine, nor is it personal opinion. It is a living force that calls us to greater awareness, integrity, and connection. As we explore this together, let’s not just ask, “What is the Truth?” Let us expand ourselves and ask, “How can I tell the truth in a way that honors both myself and the world around me?”

Truth is complex, shaped by perspective, experience, and deep spiritual understanding. In this episode, we explore the nature of absolute and relative truth, the role of self-inquiry, and how to express truth with authenticity and courage. Learn how truth can be a bridge of illumination rather than a weapon, guiding us toward greater integrity and connection.
